All branches have been brought up to date with the mainline Market app.

My favorite new feature is the ability to move the app to the SD card. If you do so though, you lose the stats widgets and can’t get them back even after you move the app back to internal storage (unless you reinstall entirely). I don’t know what’s up with that, and I don’t know what else might be broken yet.

I went over my own wish list this morning, and there’s one feature I’d really like to have when I do some traveling soon: Photo attachments. I spent the rest of the morning doing research on existing photo sharing apps, intents, and site APIs… hope to start work tomorrow.

First pass is likely to be extremely rudimentary and a bit clunky, maybe even just accepting URLs via ACTION_SENDTO from other apps (which presumably would have already uploaded the photo).

Spent the morning noodling around CheckBoxPreference some more, to no useful effect. I think the findViewById() thing in CheckBoxPreference may just be a bug, but maybe I’m just doing it wrong. I’ve posted to StackOverflow to see what everybody else thinks.

Time to move on. Travis pointed out that contact sync probably ought to have a “sync only existing contacts” option, like the Facebook and Twitter apps. Having had some exposure to android.view now, I feel ready to tackle that. It’s also about time for another merge party, and there are some more features I’d like to take on.
